*Update: The website “www.ControlYourCredit.gov” is now inactive and the game, “Bad Credit Hotel” is no longer available. However, since 2008, a wide selection of money-related gaming apps have been developed. If you’ve found one that you love, share it in the comments section below.

This has to be one of the most unique games I’ve seen that is aimed at teaching debt management principals.

You begin by checking into the “Bad Credit Hotel” and mouse through a series of actions that offer you tips and suggestions on how to manage your debt and handle certain scenarios.

Depending on your internet speed the game can take a bit to load and can require a bit of patience but in my opinion it is worth the wait.

I personally give the US Treasury Department kudos for the creativity behind the website www.ControlYourCredit.gov.

Visit the site and play the game by clicking here: Go to the ‘Bad Credit Hotel’

I’ve added the site to our recommended sites for future reference.
