Post-Filing Debtor Education Certificate Available in Missouri

After filing for bankruptcy, the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 requires that you complete a personal financial management course, also called a debtor education program) with a provider approved* by the Executive Office of the United States Trustee. At the end of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Debtor Education that you must provide to your bankruptcy attorney.
